Interview Main Points

• Data helps us analyze the needs of the children without speech abilities to tell or communicate their fears, feelings and struggles; being empathetic to someone who can’t tell you what is happening
• Teaching requires 100% attention to the child with focus and attention deficits to really communicate the lesson, data collection often takes at 30% away leaving the child unmotivated and unhappy in their education style, and causing stress to the teachers.

User Stories

This was my process of narrowing down the user stories that Roots Edu can create helping me prioritize the most important areas based on their impact and their feasibility.

• To be able easily see the day’s sequence of each child to switch between colleges smoothly.
• To be able to easily see the prompts that needs to be given to the child as well as the correct order I should be placing the stimuli so that the session can be carried our correctly.
• To be able to easily and quickly enter data on the programs being worked on to allow the therapist to spend as much attention and time with the children.

Data will reveal the truth and show you that this is what is happening with this child when you specifically bring something to the table, so it will help you design you treatment to match the child.
